Privacy notice
GameBrief is operated by Hashalias LLC ("we", "us"). This notice describes how we handle personal information collected through the gamebrief.gg website and the waitlist signup on it. The paid product has separate data handling, which will be documented here before paid launch.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect personal information you provide (your email address and your self-identification stage), together with limited technical and usage information about your visit (such as browser information, referral source, and derived identifiers used for abuse detection). We do not collect more than we need to operate the waitlist.
Why we collect it
To notify you about GameBrief and deliver founding-price access. To understand who is interested and which channels are working during validation. To detect and prevent abuse of the site. To meet legal obligations.
Service providers
We use third-party service providers to host the site, mitigate abuse, send email, and (in the future) process payments. We currently use Cloudflare, and we expect to use Stripe for payments and a transactional email provider at paid launch. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share waitlist entries for third-party marketing.
How long we keep it
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal obligations, and detect abuse. You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Email hi@gamebrief.gg and we will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.
California residents have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. Residents of the EEA, the UK, and similar jurisdictions may have rights under GDPR and comparable regimes.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use only cookies and tokens necessary to operate the site and the bot check. No advertising cookies.
Applicable law
Hashalias LLC is a limited liability company organized in California, United States. This notice does not grant rights beyond what applicable law provides to you.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
